As an RYA Training Centre we carry all the credentials and experience you will ever need to get you started, or to improve in what is the most exiting of water sports - dinghy sailing. We are experienced - we've been training for over 12 years and are certificated by the RYA.
We supply all the kit and equipment you need, and use a wide range of boats during our courses - from RS Teras and Optibats, to Laser Picos, RS Fevas, RS Visions, Wayfarers and Hobie Dragoon catamarans, there's a boat to suit everybody.
During the course of the sailing season, April - October we run a complete training programme. Whether you want to start from scratch, improve and learn new skills, or get to grips with the intricacies of racing, we've got a course for you. We also run Powerboat courses and Instructor/Coach courses.

Completely new to sailing? Then this is your starting point in learning to sail and we will take you on a step by step introduction in learning to sail a dinghy.
Having completed the Level 1 course you will now be ready to go further and to master sailing a dinghy in good conditions.
Weekly training sessions for novice sailors looking to consolidate their skills and learn new ones under the guidance of the club's instructors. The opportunity to work towards the new RYA Level 3 Better Sailing course if desired.
Regular Friday evening training for those looking for an introduction to racing, following the RYA Start Racing syllabus and joining in the Friday night race series when possible.
Get to grips with three sails! An introduction to spinnaker sailing, run over three saturday afternoons.
This course is designed to equip you with the skills you need to become a competent, independent sailor in a variety of conditions! Run over four saturday afternoons.
If you can’t make the dates for a course, want to learn a specific skill quickly, or just think you’d benefit from some one-to-one coaching, then why not book yourself or a small group of friends some private tuition at a time to suit you.
Race training for adults and cadets provided by RYA coaches through the RYA Volvo Championship Club programme.
Race preparation, tactics, strategy, and rules training run for club racers by our in-house experts!
Specific training days organized by individual fleets throughout the season.
In-house safety boat training for anyone involved in crewing the club safety boats.
